Fire In Barangka, Mandaluyong
Another fire hit Metro Manila after the De Venecia incident. Hundreds of residents fleed their homes along Kayumanggi and Agudo Streets in Barangay Barangka Drive, Mandaluyong City.
The fire was triggered by the overloading of electrical circuit which started at 5:23 pm yesterday. Strong winds spreaded the fire among houses which are made of light materials and became uncontrollable.

A Peaceful Farewell
Yesterday, the remains of KC De Venecia were interred in a crypt at the Santuario de San Antonio in Forbes Park in Makati City after the tearful service.
And this morning thousands or perhaps millions of supporters and fans of the movie king Fernando Poe Jr bid a peaceful farewell across the Philippines. A massive crowd poured into the streets of Manila and more Filipinos are in tears as they watch the funeral of their idol through the live telecast.

Good News or a Bad News To Metro Manila Drivers
Metro Manila drivers will now be freed from these kotong cops. But I don’t think it will be good news to Metro Manila drivers wherein most of them were undisciplined and although bearing professional licensed as drivers but actually practicing unprofessionally, who are trying to pay those cops arresting them for traffic violations.
To let you know, starting next year, the Philippine National Police will leave the traffic management to the local traffic enforcers and the Metro Manila Development Authority. The TMG or Traffic Management Group of the Philippine National Police who are called Kotong Cops will now be focusing on hijackers, car thieves and highway robbers.
